🤔 What Most People Get Wrong About the WhatsApp Business API

Is the GreenTick WhatsApp API live or still in beta?
It is fully live. Nine core tools are in the dashboard today, including bulk broadcasts, a shared team inbox, automations and an AI bot. You can start on a free trial without a credit card.
Do I need a developer to use the GreenTick WhatsApp API?
No. The platform runs on Meta’s cloud-hosted API, so there are no servers or webhooks to configure. Most businesses finish setup in a single afternoon.
Can I keep my current WhatsApp number?
Yes. Coexistence lets the same number run on the WhatsApp Business app and the API simultaneously. Your chat history stays intact and your team gets dashboard access alongside it.
What happened to the features on the old roadmap?
AI chatbots, scheduled messages and Flow Builder have all shipped. AI chatbots became AI Bot, scheduled messages live inside Broadcasts, and Flow Builder became Flows and Automations.
When will WhatsApp Ads and Detailed Analytics be available?
Both are in active development rather than on a fixed public date. We announce features when they ship, not before, so the roadmap on this page stays accurate.
Will my number get banned for sending bulk messages?
Not when used correctly. GreenTick sends through the Official WhatsApp Cloud API, which protects your number at the infrastructure level. Bans come from messaging contacts who never opted in, so send to engaged lists and keep an opt-out line on marketing templates.
