Every Flow is made of three things

What are WhatsApp Flows?
WhatsApp Flows are an official Meta feature that lets businesses create interactive, multi-step forms and screens that open natively inside WhatsApp. Instead of sending a link to an external form, a Flow appears as a pop-up within the chat – the customer fills it in without ever leaving WhatsApp. You can collect names, dates, preferences, file uploads, and more, all within a trusted, end-to-end encrypted environment.
How do WhatsApp Flows work?
When a customer taps a Flow button in a WhatsApp chat, a native screen opens instantly inside the app. The Flow can have one or multiple screens – each collecting specific information. On completion, the data is sent to your GreenTick dashboard via webhook in real-time. Flows can be static (all screens pre-defined in JSON, no backend needed) or dynamic (screens change based on live API responses from your server).
What is the difference between WhatsApp Flows with and without an endpoint?
A Flow without endpoint (static) has all screens defined upfront in JSON. No backend server is needed while the customer fills it in – data arrives via webhook after submission. Best for lead forms, registrations, and surveys. A Flow with endpoint (dynamic) calls your API on each screen navigation, so screens can display live data – real available appointment slots, a calculated insurance quote, or inventory from your database. Static is faster to set up; dynamic is far more powerful.
